Reports I Have Access to With My Control Panel
Shift4Shop automatically compiles data and statistics related to your sales, customers, marketing information, and products.
When selecting any one of the above topics, you will be greeted with a brief overview of the topic. This will include 30-day as well as 6-month progress graphs pertaining to the topic at hand. However, along the top of each report topic, you will also have individual reporting options available.
Below is a summary description of each report available to you:
Reports – Business
Profit by order
Displays total price of products purchased versus the internal cost for each order. The report subtracts the cost from the price to display the profit.Profit By Day
Displays total price of products purchased versus the internal cost for each day. The report subtracts the cost from the price to display the profit for the day. Individual order numbers are not included in this report.Profit By Month
Displays total price of products purchased versus the internal cost for each month. The report subtracts the cost from the price to display the profit for the month. Individual order numbers are not included in this report.Top Categories
Displays the number of products and the total value sold within each category for the specified date range.Rewards By Customer
Lists each customer that has used the rewards points feature and displays their name, company, number of points earned, number of points used, and the balance of points for the specified date range.Rewards Overall
Displays number of points given, number of points used, and the balance of points for store for the specified date range. This report does not list any customer detail.
Reports – Customers
Top Customers
Lists all customers that have placed orders within the date range specified. The report displays the customer name, company, number of orders placed from the customer, and the total amount spent.Top Groups
Lists all customer groups that have placed orders within the date range specified. The report displays the customer group name, number of orders placed from the customer group, and the total amount spent for the customer group.Newsletter signups
Displays the number of customers that signed up for the newsletter feature for the specified date range.Customer Groups
Lists customers filterable by Customer Group and specified date range. The report includes each customer's name, email address, customer group, date of last order, amount of last order, the customer's total number of orders, and total amount spent.
Reports – Inventory
Low Inventory Alert
Lists all products with a stock level lower than the stock alert number specified. This report displays the product ID, Secondary ID (if there is one), product name, current stock level, and the stock alert number set for the product. This report can be filtered by distributor and can display all products with a stock level lower than a number specified, regardless of the stock alert number set.Inventory Report
Lists all products in the store and displays the product id, product name, stock number, cost, total cost of each product on hand added together, price, and total price of each product on hand added together.
Reports – Marketing
Newsletter signups
Displays the number of customers that signed up for the newsletter for the specified date range.Orders By Date Promotion
Filters orders by Promotion to list the orders in which the promotion was applied to. The report will display all orders placed within the timeframe specified. The report displays the order number, customer name, payment method, subtotal, shipping amount, tax, order status, and order total.Orders vs Promo Code
Lists orders in which a customer used a Promo Code, filterable by date range and Promo Code used. Displays the date, order number, customer name, promo code used, order subtotal, and discount amount.Sales By Product
Lists all products sold for the date selected. Displays the product ID, product name, and the number of each product sold.Sales By Promotion
Displays the number of times each promotion has been used on orders for the selected dates. The report displays the promotion name, number of orders the promotion was used on, the value of discounts the promotion created, number of orders that received free shipping due to the promotion, and number of orders that received a free product due to the promotion. This report does not list our specific order numbers.Sales By Referrer
Lists number of sales generated from each referrer URL for the date selected. This report displays the referrer URL, number of orders generated, total value sold on the orders, total shipping value on the orders, and total tax value on the orders.Search Keywords
Lists all search keywords entered by customers on the site within the timeframe specified. The report displays the keyword, total number of times the keyword was entered into the search field on the site, the most recent date the search keyword was entered on the site, and the number of product results displayed from the search keyword.
Reports – Payment and Shipping
Sales By Payment Method (Offline)
Displays the number of orders each offline payment method was used on for the selected date. The report lists the offline method name, total number of orders the payment method was used on, total value of the orders (includes shipping and tax), total shipping value on the orders, and total tax on the orders. This report does not list individual order numbers.Sales By Payment Method (Online)
Displays the number of orders each online payment method was used on for the selected date. The report lists the online method name, total number of orders the payment method was used on, total value of the orders (includes shipping and tax), total shipping value on the orders, and total tax on the orders. This report does not list individual order numbers.Sales By Shipping Method
Displays the number of orders each shipping method was used on for the selected date. The report lists the shipping method name, total number of orders the shipping method was used on, total value of the orders (includes shipping and tax), total shipping value in the orders, and total tax value in the orders. This report does not list individual order numbers.Shipping Labels
For users of Shift4Shop's Shipping Label Solution, this report will let you review your purchased shipping labels and generated tracking numbers. Note that this report is exclusive to the built-in Shipping Label Solution provided by Shift4Shop. It has no bearing on shipping labels generated from the real time shipping integrations with integrated shipping carriers.
POS App Reports
If you are using Shift4Shop's POS iPad App for your store, you will also have a POS reporting section with the following sub-reports:
Sales by Hour
Lists POS sales by hour, filterable by weekday and date range. Displays the hour, number of orders, and total amount.Sales by Weekdays
Lists POS sales by weekday, filterable by date range. Displays the weekday, number of orders, and total amount.Sales by Day
Lists POS sales by day, filterable by date range. Displays the day, total orders, total amount, total shipping, and total tax.Top Products
Lists top-selling products through POS, filterable by date range. You can choose whether to consider item options. Displays top products, product ID, product name, quantity sold, total amount, and profit.
Reports – Products
Top Products
Lists all products in the store which have been sold within the timeframe specified. The reports displays the product ID, Product Name, and the total number sold for the date selected.Product Performance (Daily)
By choosing a specific product, this report will list each day for the date range specified and display the quantity of the product sold, the total value sold, and the total profit.Product Performance (Monthly)
By choosing a specific product, this report will list each month for the date range specified and display the quantity of the product sold, the total value sold, and the total profit.Product Sold/Order
By choosing a specific product, this report will list each order the product was purchased in for the date range specified. The report displays the date of the order, invoice number, customer who made the purchase, customer address, customer phone number, quantity of the product purchased in the order, and total value of the product sold in the order.Gift Certificates
By choosing a specific product, this report will list each order the product was purchased in for the date range specified via Gift Certificates. The report displays the date of the order, invoice number, customer who made the purchase, customer address, customer phone number, quantity of the product purchased in the order, and total value of the product sold in the order.Products by Distributor
Lists sales by Distributor, filterable by distributor name and date range of sales. Displays product ID, product name, quantity sold, cost, sale amount, and profit.Review
Lists product reviews, filterable by date range. Displays reviewer name, email, product reviewed, review date, star rating, whether the reviewer is a verified buyer, whether the review has been approved, and the helpfulness rating of the review.
