Zapier is an automation service that will let you create "trigger & action" processes (called "Zaps") between two web applications. For example, a "trigger" could be an event like a new customer registering on your Shift4Shop store, while an "action" would be having details of that customer's record posted to a different web application like SalesForce.

How do I connect Shift4Shop to Zapier?
To locate the Shift4Shop/Zapier connector, log into your Zapier account and search for "Shift4Shop" to begin the setup process.
When creating a Shift4Shop Zap, you will be asked to connect it to your Shift4Shop account. A separate pop-up "Application Authorization Request" window will appear to let you authorize the connection to your store's API
For this window, be sure to enter your store's secure URL in the provided field and click Proceed.
Once the connection is completed, you can start creating automation! Use a pre-made Zap or create your own with the Zap Editor. Creating a Zap requires no coding knowledge, and you'll be walked step-by-step through the setup.
